Piezoelectric transducer uses the piezoelectric effect to realize transduction between electric and sound energy. It comprises a radiation head, electrode, cap, prestressed bolt, piezoelectric chip and an insulating tube.
The function of ultrasonic transducer is to convert the input electric power into mechanical power (ultrasonic wave) and then transmit it, but it consumes a little part of power.
The technical problem of ultrasonic transducer is to design an ultrasonic transducer with large operating distance and wide frequency band.
The transducer consists of a shell, a matching layer, a piezoelectric ceramic disc transducer, a backing, a leading cable, and a Cymbal array receiver. The piezoelectric ceramic disk transducer is made of PZT-5 piezoelectric material with polarization in thickness direction. The Cymbal array receiver consists of 8~16 Cymbal transducers, two metal rings and a rubber washer. The distance of the invention is greater than 35m, and the bandwidth is 10kHz, which can detect the moving target with high speed.
